API-host-only cookies establish your guest identity. Losing this browser session can mean losing access. No accounts or recovery yet.
What others see
In a room, your display name, answers and approved details are visible to members. Your intensity cap, topic choices and explicit-language setting stay private. Table Roast details stay with the session that entered them.
AI processing
When live AI is on, approved details are sent to the configured AI provider to write and review lines. In fixture mode no AI provider is called and results are labelled placeholders.
Retention
Studio and Table sessions expire after 24 hours; rooms after 24 hours inactive or 48 hours total, and their live copies are removed within the next 24 hours.
Research archive
A separate research copy keeps what players shared, said, answered and voted, and everything VC generated (including drafts it rejected), linked to anonymous session IDs. It is used only to analyse and improve the product. Deleting a Studio or Table session removes its research copy too. The owner must set a retention period and a contact for deletion requests before public launch.
Before launch
The owner must supply legal identity, monitored contact details, subprocessors, processing locations and a verified retention policy. This draft is not final legal documentation.
